Co-operative Bank wins MoneySupermarket award

| January 10, 2012 | 0 Comments has named The Co-operative Bank as the Best Current Account Provider in the UK.

The recently established ‘Supers’ awards consider The Co-operative Bank to be a market leader in terms of innovation and customer service.

Robin Taylor, Head of Banking at The Co-operative Bank, said that the award success was indicative of the firm’s position as a genuine alternative for everyday banking.

Taylor went on to say that the firm had attracted large numbers of customers from the big five banks during the course of the last year, as people seek to find better customer service with a responsible bank that has a conscience.

Taylor added that the firm was committed to supporting its one and a half million customers, and said that it had removed interest charges on formal overdrafts until 4 April 2012 to help people after the expense of Christmas.
