The UK’s largest private client investment manager, Brewin Dolphin, has announced the rebranding of its Scottish division, Bell Lawrie.

Bell Lawrie will operate under the Brewin Dolphin name from March of next year.

Bell Lawrie joined the Brewin Dolphin Group in 1993, and has a history stretching over a century and a half.

Operating under their new name, the seven Scottish offices will continue to offer clients advice about pensions, mitigating the effects of inheritance tax, and other financial matters.

By being part of the wider Brewin Dolphin network, Bell Lawrie will benefit from a raised profile and access to greater professional expertise.

Jamie Matheson, chairman of Brewin Dolphin, explained that the brand name had been adopted by the firm’s offices in other parts of the United Kingdom and that by adding Bell Lawrie the brand name would be bolstered even further.

Henry Algeo is to retain his post as regional MD of the seven Scottish offices.
