JP Morgan has held the opening ceremony for its new office in Abu Dhabi.
The ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries, government officials and clients, including His Excellency Khalil Mohammed Sharif Foulathi, Central Bank of UAE Chairman.
The bank has operated in the Middle East for over five decades, when JP Morgan forerunner The Chase Manhattan Bank opened an office in Beirut.
The firm was proud to open its new Abu Dhabi office, Ghassan Abdul Karim, Chairman of the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Central Asia region, stated, adding that it underlined the bank’s commitment to the United Arab Emirates and the region as a whole.
Earlier this month Deutsche Bank opened its first branch in Abu Dhabi, catering to the firm’s corporate and institutional clients.
