Pierre Servant was named CEO of the Year at Global Investor’s 10th anniversary awards, held in London.

Servant is the president and chief executive officer of Natixis Global Asset Management (NGAM), as well as being having a seat on the Board of Directors of Natixis with leadership of the Investment Solutions division.

He became CEO of NGAM three years ago and has managed to achieve growth in investment and distribution capabilities despite the tremendously difficult financial crisis and ensuing recession.

During the financial crisis NGAM managed to record positive net inflows, and during Servant’s tenure as CEO has acquired numerous new investment firms as well as growing organically and opening new offices in Asia and Europe.

Servant stated he was honoured to accept the award, and paid tribute to the hard work and dedication of NGAM’s staff.
