Credit Suisse and Gerson Lehrman Group have announced they are to participate in a strategic alliance together.

Under the new arrangement, Credit Suisse will benefit from Gerson Lehrman’s network of expertise, which numbers over 200,000 professionals around the globe.

Utilising this network of expertise, Credit Suisse aims to continue its differentiation and expansion of its global equity research.

Credit Suisse’s own equity research experts will be included, on a partial basis, in Gerson Lehrman’s network, bolstering its reputation as a leading player in global expertise.

Certain types of Gerson Lehrman clients will benefit from access to Credit Suisse’s equity research analysts regarding macro-industry topics.

In addition, Gerson Lehrman will be able to market its services to the worldwide client base of Credit Suisse.

Gerson Lehrman Group’s CEO and president, Alexander Saint-Amand, has stated that by collaborating with the Swiss investment bank he anticipates a faster growth rate for the firm, particularly in emerging markets.
