Bank of America Merrill Lynch has announced the appointment of Martin Friedman as MD and co-head of Americas life sciences investment banking.
He joins the firm from Credit Suisse, where he served as head of East Coast life sciences banking.
Friedman will be based in New York and collaborate closely with Chris Seiter, co-head of life sciences, reporting directly to Charles Ditkoff, MD and head of Americas healthcare corporate and investment banking.
Paul Donofrio, head of global healthcare, consumer and retail, and technology, media and telecom corporate and investment banking, has said that Friedman’s appointment will help the firm bolster its offering to large cap life sciences firms.
Ditkoff has welcomed the appointment and praised Friedman’s strong track record and extensive expertise in the area.
