DeAM appoints Asia-Pacific CEO

Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) has announced the appointment of Boris Liedtke as chief executive of Asia-Pacific (excepting Japan).

He has been with Deutsche Bank for the last decade and a half, spending eight years of that time in Asia.

Liedtke is to be based in Singapore where he will enact the firm’s regional strategy, foster relations with the governments and regulatory authorities of the region and chair the Asia Pacific Regional Management Committee.

He will report to Mark Cullen, global chief operating officer and acting head of DeAM Asia Pacific.

Robert Rankin, CEO Asia Pacific (ex-Japan), has welcomed Liedtke’s appointment and praised his extensive experience.
