German bank Eurohypo has named Martin Bendrich as the firm’s new head of Corporate Communications, effective from 1 September.

He has been the communications head of Allianz Versicherungs AG for the last four years and has occupied a number of advisory communications roles prior to joining Allianz in the 1990s.

Bendrich will succeed the incumbent communications chief Siegfried Guterman, who has occupied the post for the last six years and is leaving the bank to seek a fresh professional challenge.

Chairman Dr Frank Pörschke has warmly welcomed Bendrich’s appointment and stated that his future colleagues are very much looking forward to working with him.

Dr Pörschke went on to pay tribute to the contribution Guterman has made to the firm during his time as Corporate Communications chief.
