Investment bank Credit Suisse has announced the appointment of Benjamin Happ as head of Capital Services Asia Pacific.

He leaves behind the post of head of business development with alternative investment manager Abax Global Capital to join Credit Suisse, and has also worked for Morgan Stanley in New York.

In his new post Happ will be tasked with bringing together global investors and the firm’s Asian hedge fund client base.

In addition he will be responsible for introducing local investors to non-Asian hedge funds.

Happ joins in Hong Kong as a director, and will report on a regional basis to Kevin Meehan, Prime Services Coverage Asia Pacific, and on a functional basis to Edgar Senior, global head of Capital Services.
