Natixis, the listed subsidiary of Caisse d’Epargne and Banque Populaire, has seen a brace of high profile personnel changes recently.
At its meeting last Friday the Supervisory Board was reduced in number by the resignations of Bernard Comolet and Bruno Mettling, and Philippe Dupont parted ways with the Executive Board.
Upon consideration of its options the Supervisory Board subsequently agreed unanimously that François Pérol would become a board member and the board’s chairman.
In addition Dominique Ferrero was appointed to the post of executive chairman.
The Supervisory Board has also given its approval to plans intended to streamline and enhance Natixis’ structure by having a Board of Directors with separate chairman and CEO roles.
The shareholders will be asked for their approval at the firm’s AGM at the end of April.
