Union Bank promotes Shairson to executive VP

Union Bank, N.A. has promoted Bradley Shairson to the post of executive vice president, and head of Global Capital Markets.

He has been with the bank for the last three years, and before his promotion served as head of the Global Foreign Exchange and Derivatives unit as a senior vice president.

Earlier in his career he worked on both sides of the Atlantic for Deutsche Bank, and also worked for SunTrust Bank in Atlanta.

Shairson will be based in Los Angeles, and be directly responsible to Senior Executive Vice President Johannes Worsoe, the head of Global and Wealth Markets.

In his new position he will become responsible for more than 100 capital markets sales, trading and risk professionals tasked with delivering a broad range of products to Union Bank clients.

Worsoe has welcomed Shairson’s promotion, and praised his extensive experience and strong leadership skills.
