European IT services company, Tieto, has launched the Origination Suite, which is designed to support sales of financial services including mortgages, savings, loans, cards, insurance and current accounts.

Focussing on mortgage origination, Tieto claims the solution provides business users with an intuitive, easy-to-use system for the complete process, from initial customer engagement to loan fulfilment.

According to the firm, the Suite is highly configurable, allowing the lender to decide the amount of information collected during the application process, what lending policy rules are to be used and the process by which the loan will be progressed through to completion.

In addition to supporting a full range of mortgage products, the solution allows lenders to respond to market forces or regulatory changes quickly and easily.

The firm’s head of financial services UK, Liam Howard, says: “Origination Suite will allow lenders to provide a consistent customer experience across all channels, shorten the sales cycle through higher automation, ensure that products are matched to individual customer circumstances and have the agility required to react quickly to market needs.”
