Deutsche Securities Inc. yesterday announced the appointment of Shunichi Maeda as managing director and vice chairman of the firm’s Japanese Global Banking division.
Maeda brings with him extensive industry experience and a plethora of senior contacts.
He started work almost four decades ago, and in his lengthy career has worked for Mitsubishi Corporation and the World Bank.
More recently, Maeda has served as deputy president and executive officer of Lehman Brothers Japan Inc.
Deutsche’s leader of Global Banking in Japan, David Shrenzel, has welcomed Maeda’s appointment.
