Global investment bank Nomura has announced the appointment of Mikael Dahl as co-head of Nordic Investment Banking.

He brings in excess of two decades of investment banking experience to Nomura, and was formerly a partner with EQT Partners, prior to which he worked for Citigroup/Salomon Brothers.

In his new role Dahl will collaborate with Petter Sternby, and be responsible for improving the firm’s Nordic investment banking and corporate finance offering.

Dahl will be based in London, and is to be directly responsible to the head of Investment Banking, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), William Vereker.

Vereker has stated that the appointment emphasises the firm’s commitment to enhancing its European franchise, and its intention to capitalise on the momentum it has in the Nordic region.
