Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. announced yesterday that Mark Schoenebaum is appointed to the Equity Company Research division as senior research analyst and managing director.
He joins the firm from Bear Stearns, where he covered biotechnology in equity research as senior managing director.
Since 2000 he has served as an equity research analyst with Stearns, prior to which he worked in Healthcare equity research as a co-director with at Alexandra Investment Management.
In his New York-based role, Schoenebaum is to report directly to Steve Pollard, research chief of the Americas and managing director.
Elsewhere in the firm Robyn Karnauskas has become the new vice president and research analyst in Equity Company Research.
Like Schoenebaum, she joins from Bear Stearns where she worked covering biotechnology.
Karnauskas is to report to Schoenebaum, and, like him, will be based in New York.
