Independent investment bank Berkery Noyes has announced a trio of executives have been promoted to work as managing directors, with John Guzzo, Vivek Kamath and Mai-Anh Tran taking on their new roles with immediate effect.
Guzzo joined the firm in 2005 as vice president, and was promoted to director two years ago.
Prior to joining the firm he spent over a decade in financial services with Giuliani Capital Advisors and Ernst & Young.
Kamath began working for Berkery Noyes over a decade ago, initially as an analyst before being promoted first to vice president and then to director.
Tran joined the firm in 2004 as vice president, specialising in providing software and information companies with M&A advisory services.
Earlier in his career Tran worked for Veronis Suhler Stevenson and Credit Suisse First Boston in M&A and corporate finance.
The trio will now be tasked with fostering new client relationships with Guzzo handling Business Information and Financial Services, Kamath taking on Education, Knowledge Management and Training and Tran responsible for Healthcare, Life Science and Pharmaceutical information and technology industries.
