Jefferies Putnam Lovell, Jefferies & Company’s investment banking group, has announced the appointment of Karamvir Gosal as managing director.

Gosal rejoined the firm from Credit Suisse Group, where he spent over a year as director of Financial Institutions Group.

From 2000 to 2007 he worked as vice president and director for the predecessor firm of Jefferies Putnam Lovell, advising on a number of important transactions.

Earlier in his career he worked for Barra Strategic Consulting Group.

Co-head of investment banking, Chris Kanoff, has expressed his delight that Gosal has returned to the firm, describing him as an experienced banker and proven leader.

Aaron Dorr, MD at Jefferies Putnam Lovell, has added that he is thrilled to be working alongside Gosal once more.
