Investment bank Credit Suisse has announced the appointments of Ken Pang and Min Park as co-heads of Equity Derivatives and Convertibles, Asia Pacific.

Pang will take on leadership of the bank’s full Derivatives and Convertibles product platform and become responsible for developing trading, risk management and infrastructure.

Park will be tasked with the supervision of Derivatives and Convertibles sales, distribution and structuring functions.

Pang and Park both formerly worked for the bank’s Swiss rival, UBS, heading up the Equity Derivatives business.

Their appointments have been made both to enhance Credit Suisse’s regional presence and to help bring together its Equity Derivatives and Convertibles businesses.

Pang and Park will be based in Hong Kong and report directly to Osama Abbasi, the firm’s head of Equities for Asia Pacific.
