Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. has announced the appointment of Dominic Konstam as managing director and global head of Rates Research, inside the firm’s Global Markets division.

He brings with him 18 years of experience in fixed income research, and previously worked for Credit Suisse as global head of Interest Rates Research.

Konstam’s primary task in his new position will be developing the firm’s fixed income research platform on the US and global stages, enhancing client service and broadening the product range.

He will be based in New York, and be directly responsible to Marcel Cassard, global head of Macro and Fixed Income Research.

Konstam’s appointment is effective from 1 June, 2010.

Head of Global Markets and Member of the Management Board Anshu Jain has warmly welcomed Konstam to the firm, adding that he would prove a major asset.
