Barclaycard has responded generously to those afflicted by extreme flooding by waiving the minimum monthly payment for all customers in flood-stricken areas, until the end of August.
Interest will be waived on the minimum payment missed and customers can rest assured that they will not be expected to pay any charge for late payment.
Barclaycard is hopeful that its concession will bring a little comfort to people whose homes have been devastated by flooding, whilst also giving them one less thing to worry about.
Further news on the credit card provider includes the launch of Barclaycard Football, which offers zero per cent interest on season ticket purchases.
This coincides with the Barclaycard Football Fans’ Survey, which is polling fans from across all the football leagues to ascertain how they feel about their club’s prospects in the new season.
Over 5,700 fans have completed the survey, which is being run in partnership with independent research body, the Football Fans’ Census.
The results will show supporters’ levels of expectation for the coming season and will be available prior to the beginning of the season.
