Deutsche Bank has announced the creation of a new team dedicated to FX sales in the Nordic region.

The new team will cater to institutional, sovereign, public sector, corporate and mid cap clients in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

The team is to be based in Stockholm and will offer multiple products.

Presently, Deutsche Bank has offices in Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo with over 40 staff providing the firm’s clients with a broad range of services.

The new team is to be led by Tommy Rolke, and will include Martin Hessle, Peter Odefalk and Henrik Svensson, all of whom are local FX specialists.

Global head of foreign exchange Zar Amrolia has described foreign exchange as a local business with a global product, adding that the new FX sales team will offer a direct and personalised service to Deutsche Bank’s Nordic clients.
